What we store
- Sign-up: first name, email address, your language and the languages you can meet in, the sizes you would wear, and whether you want a blind date.
- Your sweater: two photos, size, chest width, tier, name, description and its code.
- Your picks: which sweaters you would wear and which you have seen.
- Swaps: who you were paired with, confirmations, handovers, cancellations, reported no-shows, blocks and reports.
- Chat: the messages you write to the person you swap with.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, your device's push address.
Who sees what
Signed-up people in your sizes see your sweater's photos and details, not your name. The person you are paired with sees your first name, the languages you can meet in, how often you have swapped and how often you did not turn up, and your chat messages. On a blind date they only see the photos of your sweater when you meet. Nobody but us sees your email address.
What for
To run ReYule Season 0: to find swaps, to email you about your swap and to prevent misuse. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, most easily with "Delete all my data" on your page.
How long
We delete unconfirmed sign-ups after 48 hours, copies of sent emails after 30 days and everything else by 28 February 2027 at the latest. If you delete yourself before then, your details, photos, chat messages and every email to you are gone immediately. Only two things stay until that date, with no link to your name or address: reports you made or received, and a hash of your email address, kept only if you were banned, put on hold or reported as a no-show, or blocked someone or were blocked. It makes sure none of that disappears with a new sign-up (legitimate interest in safe meetings, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where
The site runs on Railway (data centre in the Netherlands) and emails are sent by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). Both process the data on our behalf. We use no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts.
